The Chapel

The venue is wheelchair accessible with a designated ADA area (which can reach capacity early). Most shows are general admission, standing on the main floor (no assigned seats). The upstairs balcony/mezzanine offers some first-come seating and stage views — arrive early to improve your chances. Some events may be configured differently, so check the listing.

Generally all ages, which the venue defines as 6 years and up. Individual shows may set a higher minimum, so check the specific event.

Doors and set times vary by event and are listed per-show on the calendar/ticket page — The Chapel doesn't publish a single standard schedule. Typically doors open in the evening with the headliner following an opener later in the night; confirm on the event listing.

Box office at 777 Valencia St, open on show nights only: one hour before doors Sat–Thu, and two hours before on Fridays. In-person purchases carry a $1/ticket fee (plus 3% credit card), so buying in person does not avoid all fees. Password-protected presales must be bought online.

The adjoining Curio bar & restaurant serves cocktails and food and can offer expedited entry to the music room, and the main room has bar service during shows. Coat check is available, and earplugs are offered. A specific re-entry policy isn't published — confirm for your show.

No onsite parking. Nearby garages include Mission & Bartlett (90 Bartlett St) and Hoff Street Garage (42 Hoff St); street parking is free after 6pm in much of the area. Nearest BART is 16th St Mission (~10-min walk); Muni 14, 22, 33, 49 and the J Church are within walking distance.
